Throughout our careers, as a team we have had mentors who have supported our professional life and continue to do so.

Would you value having a mentor, or do you know anyone who would value having a mentor?

The offer is to engage in a confidential one-to-one relationship in which the individual uses the experience of another to develop. It is a protected, non-judgmental relationship which facilitates a wide range of learning, experimentation and development.

Some points to note:

Confidentiality – Whatever is discussed will not be shared wider.
Scope – The mentee can decide the scope of areas to be included
Commitment with flexibility – It is accepted that both parties will be committed.
Time – The time frame is 6 -9 months.
Action based – Specific actions will be completed within the time frame agreed.
Relationship based – We will create formal and informal development conversations.
Monitoring progress – We will monitor progress at the end of each formal meeting.
